RevShare, CPA or Hybrid: Picking Your Casino Affiliate Deal

Updated 17 October 2026 · By the Cas2Aff team

The question new partners ask us most is not "how much can I earn?" but "which deal should I take?". There is no universal answer, but there is a sensible way to think about it. This guide explains how each of the three Cas2Aff models pays, which kinds of traffic suit each one, and how to tell from your own reports when it is time to change.

RevShare: a share of what your players generate

With revenue share, you earn a percentage of the net revenue produced by the players you refer, for as long as they keep playing. At Cas2Aff every new partner starts at 25% and can move up to 50% as their players stay active.

"Net revenue" is the key phrase. It is what the operator keeps after players' wins, and your report shows it as NGR. In a month where your players lose, NGR is positive and your RevShare grows. In a month where someone hits a big win, NGR for that month drops. Over a longer period these swings even out, which is why RevShare rewards patience.

The main appeal is that one good player can keep paying you for a long time without you doing anything more. The main drawback is that income is slower to build and harder to predict month to month.

CPA: paid once per qualifying depositor

CPA, or cost per acquisition, pays you a fixed amount for each referred player who makes a qualifying deposit. The amount is agreed with your manager and depends on your traffic, so we do not publish a single figure. Once a player qualifies, that payment is yours whatever the player does next; there is no ongoing share afterwards.

CPA suits affiliates who bring many new players in short bursts and want to know what each one is worth straight away. It removes the uncertainty of player results. The trade-off is that you give up the long tail: a player who stays for two years earns you the same as one who leaves after a week.

Hybrid: some of each

Hybrid combines a CPA payment on each qualifying player with an ongoing RevShare on the same player. Each part is usually set lower than it would be on its own, but you get money upfront and a long-term income line together. It is the model many new Cas2Aff partners choose when they are not yet sure what their traffic looks like, because it limits the downside of guessing wrong.

Why sports traffic changes the maths

Cas2Bet runs its casino and sportsbook on one account, so your commission covers everything a player does: slots, live tables and sports bets together. That has a few consequences worth understanding before you choose.

  • Sports revenue follows results. A weekend where the favourites all win is good for bettors and lowers revenue; a run of upsets does the opposite. On RevShare, a sports-heavy audience means more variation from month to month.
  • Casino play smooths it out. Players who came for football often spend some time on the casino side between fixtures. That steadier activity reduces the swings, which is one reason mixed audiences tend to do well on RevShare.
  • Match days bring bursts of new players. Big fixtures and tournaments produce a lot of signups in a short time. If your traffic is built on those moments, CPA captures their value immediately.

Matching the model to your traffic

These are tendencies, not rules, but they describe what we see across different kinds of Cas2Bet partners.

Tipster pages and match-day social accounts

Lots of new players around big games, many of them depositing modest amounts. CPA or Hybrid usually suits this best, because the value is in the volume of first deposits.

Beginner casino blogs and "how it works" guides

Fewer signups, but readers who arrive with time to learn and often stay. RevShare normally pays more here over a season.

Community groups and forums

Members who know you and trust your recommendations tend to stick around. RevShare rewards that loyalty. If the group is very large and fast-moving, Hybrid is a reasonable compromise.

Mixed sites covering both sports and casino

Hybrid is the safe starting point. After a few months your reports will tell you which way to lean.

Reading the signs in your reports

Your Reports screen shows clicks, signups, first deposits, deposits, withdrawals, chargebacks, NGR, and what you earned through CPA and RevShare, for any date range. Use it to test your choice rather than relying on instinct.

  • Compare first deposits with later deposits. If total deposits keep growing well after the first deposit, your players stay, and RevShare is likely the better long-term deal.
  • Look at a longer window. One month on RevShare can mislead, especially with sports in the mix. Check three months before deciding anything.
  • Split by source. Add each channel as a separate website in the Link Creator and use SID labels on individual links. You may find your football posts behave like CPA traffic and your casino guides like RevShare traffic, which is exactly the situation Hybrid is designed for.
  • Watch chargebacks. Chargebacks and confirmed fraud can be deducted under the terms. A source with a lot of them needs attention whatever your model.

Changing your deal

You are not locked into the model you start with. If your numbers point another way, write to your manager with what you have seen in your reports. A short note such as "most of my depositors come from match previews and few play beyond the first month" is the kind of evidence that makes the conversation quick. RevShare partners whose players stay active can also move up from the 25% starting point towards 50%.

Whatever the model, payment works the same way: once your balance reaches $250, it is paid in the method you chose. The commissions page summarises all three models, and how to join covers getting your account set up.
